Please read these terms carefully before using Lavisa Travel & Tourism's booking platform for Hotels, Flights, and Car Rental services. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Introduction & Definitions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Lavisa Travel & Tourism LLC ("Lavisa Travel," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By accessing our website, creating an account, or making a booking through our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

"Traveler"Any person included in a Booking (guest, passenger, or driver), including the Booking Holder
"AED"United Arab Emirates Dirham, the default currency for pricing and transactions

Our Role

Lavisa Travel acts as an intermediary between you and travel Suppliers. We facilitate the search, comparison, and booking of travel services. The actual travel services are provided by the respective Suppliers under their own terms and conditions. We are not the provider of the hotel accommodation, airline transport, or rental vehicle.

Supplier Terms Apply

In addition to these Terms, your Booking is subject to the specific terms and conditions of the relevant Supplier (hotel, airline, or car rental company). These are presented to you before you complete your Booking.

Eligibility & Accounts

Age and Capacity

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use our Services and make Bookings. By making a Booking, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

If you are making a Booking on behalf of other Travelers (including minors), you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that all Travelers accept these Terms.

Account Registration

  • You may create an account to save preferences, view booking history, and expedite future bookings
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

Booking Without an Account

Account registration is not mandatory. You may make bookings as a guest by providing the required information at the time of booking. Guest bookings are managed via the booking reference number and email address provided.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity. Active Bookings will be honored but no new Bookings may be made.

Booking Terms

General Booking Process

  1. Search & Select — You search for available services and select your preferred option
  2. Review Details — You review the booking details, price, and applicable conditions
  3. Provide Information — You enter the required traveler and payment information
  4. Confirm & Pay — You confirm the booking and authorize payment
  5. Receive Confirmation — A booking confirmation with reference number is sent to your email

A Booking is considered confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email with a valid booking reference number. The confirmation is subject to availability and successful payment processing.

Hotel Booking Terms

  • Check-in / Check-out: Standard check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00 unless otherwise stated. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Room allocation: Specific room assignments are at the hotel's discretion. Preferences (floor, view, bed type) are requests only and are not guaranteed.
  • Guest names: The name on the booking must match the guest checking in. Changes to guest names may require cancellation and rebooking.
  • Special requests: Dietary needs, accessibility requirements, and other special requests are forwarded to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
  • No-show: Failure to check in on the confirmed date without prior cancellation may result in a no-show charge equal to the first night's rate or the full booking amount.
  • Hotel policies: You are subject to the hotel's house rules during your stay, including policies on noise, smoking, pets, and damage.

Flight Booking Terms

  • Passenger names: Names must exactly match government-issued ID or passport. Name corrections after ticketing may incur airline change fees or require a new ticket.
  • Travel documents: You are solely responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, and travel documents. Lavisa Travel is not liable for denied boarding due to inadequate documentation.
  • Baggage: Baggage allowances are determined by the airline and fare class. Additional baggage fees are the passenger's responsibility.
  • Seat selection: Seat preferences are requests and not guaranteed. Airlines may reassign seats at any time for operational reasons.
  • Flight changes by airline: Airlines may change schedules, routes, or cancel flights. In such cases, the airline's own policies on rebooking and compensation apply.
  • Connecting flights: If booked on separate tickets, missed connections due to delays on the first flight are not our responsibility.
  • No-show: Failure to board a confirmed flight without prior cancellation forfeits the ticket value. For return or multi-city tickets, subsequent segments may be automatically cancelled by the airline.

Car Rental Booking Terms

  • Driver requirements: The primary driver must be at least 21 years old (25 for certain vehicle categories) and hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year. International Driving Permits may be required.
  • Vehicle pickup: A valid credit card in the driver's name is required at pickup for the security deposit. Debit cards may not be accepted.
  • Vehicle category: Bookings are for a vehicle category, not a specific make or model. The supplier guarantees a vehicle of equivalent or higher category.
  • Fuel policy: Fuel policies vary by supplier (full-to-full, prepaid, etc.) and are displayed at the time of booking.
  • Mileage: Unless stated as unlimited, mileage limits apply. Excess mileage charges are the driver's responsibility.
  • Insurance: Basic insurance is typically included. Additional coverage (CDW waiver reduction, theft protection, personal accident) is optional and can be added at booking or pickup.
  • Damage and fines: You are responsible for traffic fines (e.g., Salik tolls in UAE), parking violations, and vehicle damage during the rental period.
  • Late return: Returning the vehicle after the agreed time may incur additional day charges at the supplier's standard rate.

Pricing & Fees

Currency

All prices are displayed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) unless otherwise indicated. Alternative currency display is for reference only; the charged amount will be in the currency stated at the time of payment confirmation.

What's Included in the Price

Prices shown at checkout include:

  • The base rate for the service (room, ticket, or vehicle rental)
  • Applicable taxes and government fees (VAT, tourism tax, airport taxes)
  • Our service fee, where applicable

Additional Charges Not Included

The following costs are not included in the displayed price and are your responsibility:

  • Hotel incidentals (minibar, room service, parking, resort fees charged on-site)
  • Airline baggage fees, seat upgrades, and in-flight purchases
  • Car rental extras (GPS, child seat, additional driver, fuel, tolls such as Salik)
  • Travel insurance, visa fees, and vaccination costs
  • Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer

Dynamic Pricing

Prices are supplied by our partners in real time and are subject to change based on availability, demand, and supplier pricing policies. A price is only guaranteed once your Booking is confirmed and a confirmation reference is issued.

Price Errors

In rare cases, a price displayed may be incorrect due to a system error. We reserve the right to cancel bookings made at obviously erroneous prices and offer you a full refund or the option to rebook at the correct price.

Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit / Debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Bank transfer — For bookings above AED 5,000 or corporate accounts
  • PayPal — Where available
  • Agency credit — For approved corporate and trade accounts

Payment Authorization

By providing your payment details, you authorize Lavisa Travel (or our payment processor) to charge the agreed amount. For pay-at-property hotel bookings, you authorize the hotel to charge your card. You confirm that you are the authorized cardholder or have the cardholder's explicit permission.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used at booking
  • Credit card refunds typically appear within 7-14 business days
  • Bank transfer refunds may take up to 21 business days
  • Refund amounts are determined by the applicable cancellation policy (see Section 6)

Failed Payments & Chargebacks

If a payment fails, the booking will not be confirmed. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for a legitimate, confirmed booking without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account and pursue recovery of the amount owed, including any administrative costs incurred.

Cancellation & Modifications

Cancellation and modification policies vary by service type, supplier, and rate selected. The specific policy applicable to your Booking is displayed at the time of booking and included in your confirmation email.

Modifications: Date changes or room upgrades are subject to availability and may result in a price difference. Name changes typically require cancellation and rebooking.

Important: Airline cancellation and change fees are set by the airline, not by Lavisa Travel. We will facilitate the process but cannot override airline policies.

Modifications: Changes to pickup dates, return dates, or vehicle category may be possible subject to supplier availability and price adjustment.

The cancellation terms shown at the time of your booking are the definitive terms that apply. The above are general guidelines. Your booking confirmation email contains the exact cancellation deadline and applicable fees.

Liability & Disclaimers

Our Role as Intermediary

Lavisa Travel acts as a booking intermediary. The actual travel services (accommodation, air transport, vehicle rental) are provided by third-party Suppliers. We are not the provider, operator, or owner of these services.

Supplier Responsibility

The relevant Supplier is responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, and delivery of the booked service
  • Compliance with local laws and regulations at the service location
  • Handling of complaints relating to the service itself (room condition, flight delays, vehicle issues)
  • Compensation for service failures as required by applicable consumer protection laws

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

  • Lavisa Travel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our Platform or Services
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total booking amount paid by you for the specific Booking giving rise to the claim
  • We are not liable for losses caused by Supplier actions or omissions, including overbooking, cancellations, service quality issues, or personal injury at Supplier premises

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, severe weather, or epidemics/pandemics
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
  • Strikes, labor disputes, or industrial action
  • IT system failures, cyberattacks, or telecommunications outages
  • Changes in law or government travel restrictions

Warranty Disclaimer

Our Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of information provided by Suppliers (including photos, descriptions, star ratings, and reviews), uninterrupted access to our Platform, or the suitability of any service for your particular needs.

Travel Risks

You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other travel-related risks. Lavisa Travel does not provide travel insurance unless explicitly offered and purchased as part of your Booking.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on our Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design and layout, is the property of Lavisa Travel & Tourism LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by UAE and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not, without our prior written consent:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content from our Platform
  • Use our trademarks, trade names, or logos for any purpose
  • Frame, mirror, or create derivative works based on our Platform
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software used in our Platform

Supplier Content

Hotel photos, airline logos, vehicle images, and property descriptions are provided by our Suppliers and remain their intellectual property. These are displayed under license for the purpose of facilitating bookings only.

User Content

If you submit reviews, feedback, or other content through our Platform, you grant Lavisa Travel a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our Services. You retain ownership of your content but confirm it does not infringe any third-party rights.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our Platform or Services to:

  • Provide false information — Submit inaccurate personal details, use fraudulent payment methods, or misrepresent your identity
  • Speculative bookings — Make bookings you do not intend to use, or make multiple reservations for the same dates to hold inventory
  • Resale or arbitrage — Purchase bookings for the purpose of reselling at a markup without our authorization
  • Automated access — Use bots, scrapers, spiders, or other automated tools to access, monitor, or copy content from our Platform
  • System interference — Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security or integrity of our Platform
  • Circumvent restrictions — Bypass any measures used to prevent or restrict access to our Platform
  • Illegal activity — Use our Services for any purpose that violates UAE law or the laws of any relevant jurisdiction
  • Harassment — Send unsolicited communications, spam, or abusive messages through our Platform

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension, booking cancellation (without refund), and, where applicable, legal action.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lavisa Travel & Tourism LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your use or misuse of our Platform or Services
  • Any inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information you provide
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, or other rights)
  • Any dispute between you and a Supplier regarding the services received
  • Your violation of any applicable travel regulations, visa requirements, or customs laws

This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your account and any completed or cancelled Bookings.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal@lavisatravel.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve your concern within 30 days of receiving your written complaint.

Jurisdiction

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts.

Arbitration Option

As an alternative to court proceedings, either party may elect to resolve disputes through binding arbitration administered by the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) under its then-current rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, in Dubai, UAE, by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Time Limit for Claims

Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms must be filed within one (1) year from the date the cause of action arose, or it shall be permanently barred.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Booking-specific conditions, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lavisa Travel regarding your use of our Platform and Services. They supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any term on one occasion shall not be deemed a waiver of any other term or of the same term on any other occasion.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any affiliate or successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided your rights under these Terms are not materially diminished.

Third-Party Rights

These Terms do not confer any rights on any third party (other than Suppliers to the extent expressly stated) under the UAE Contracts and Commercial Transactions Law or any similar legislation.

Notices

Notices from us will be sent to the email address associated with your account or Booking. Notices from you should be directed to the contact details provided in Section 13. Notices are deemed received when delivered by email.

Language

These Terms are drafted in English. If translated into any other language, the English version shall prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a prominent notice on our Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
